The Process
Standard turnaround is 2–6 days from deposit to launch. That covers the build, your review, two rounds of revisions, and the handoff. Need it even faster? We offer a rush option (+$300) for next-day or 24-hour delivery — available when our schedule allows.
Ideally, have these ready within the first week: your logo (if you have one), brand colors, any photos you want on the site, your domain name, and the email address you want contact form submissions to go to. No logo? No problem — we'll design around what you have or help you figure it out. No domain? We'll point you to where to buy one (about $15/year).
Once the build is ready, we send you a live preview link — a real URL you can click through on your phone and desktop. You review it, send us consolidated feedback, and we make the changes. That counts as one revision round. You get two rounds included. When you're happy and give final approval, we collect the remaining payment and launch.
That's what revisions are for. We build directly from your intake brief, so major surprises are rare — but if something isn't right, we fix it. Two rounds of revisions are included in every project. The clearer and more detailed your intake form, the closer the first draft lands. Nothing goes live until you sign off on it.
Pricing & Payment
50% deposit upfront to start the project. The remaining 50% is due when you approve the final site — before it goes live. We accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or bank transfer. No subscriptions, no monthly fees. You pay twice and you're done.
A landing page is a single page built to drive one specific action — fill out a form, call a number, book an appointment. Best for businesses running ads, launching a product, or needing something live fast. A full website is your complete online presence: Home, About, Services, Portfolio, Contact — 5 to 10 pages. Best for businesses that want to show up professionally across the board.
No. We don't charge monthly fees and we don't lock you into a subscription. After launch, the only ongoing costs are your domain (~$15/year, paid directly to your registrar) and hosting — which we set up on Netlify's free tier, so that's $0. You own the site outright. No one can take it from you, shut it down, or raise your rate.
In Kansas City, web design prices range from a few hundred dollars for a template site to $10,000+ for a full agency build. At AuroWeb, a custom landing page starts at $997 and a full website starts at $2,997 — both hand-coded from scratch, no templates. Domain is about $15/year and hosting is free on Netlify. No monthly fees after launch.
The Build
Website builders are fine for testing an idea. For a real business, they cost more than people realize. Squarespace charges $23–$65/month — that's $276–$780 every year, forever, with no end date. The templates are recognizable and your competitors can copy the same look in an afternoon. A custom AuroWeb site is a one-time flat fee. Faster load times, a design no one else has, and you own the code outright. After 3 years, custom costs less than keeping a Squarespace subscription.
No. We build in clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — written from scratch, no CMS, no plugins, no page builders. WordPress means monthly updates, plugin conflicts, security patches, and eventually something breaks when you're not looking. Our sites load faster, cost less to maintain, and have no moving parts to break. You get a ZIP of all your files — no platform dependency, no lock-in.
We don't offer SEO as a service. Every site we build is clean, fast, properly structured, and mobile-first — all of which helps search engines index it — but we won't promise you rankings, because that's a different discipline entirely and we'd rather be honest than overpromise. If SEO is a priority, we'd recommend hiring a dedicated SEO specialist after your site is live.
Either way works. If you have your copy ready, send it over and we'll use it. If you'd rather not write it yourself, we offer copywriting as an add-on at $150 per page — we write everything based on your intake form answers and your business goals. Most clients who add copywriting say it's the best money they spent on the project.
After Launch
Yes — you own all the files and can edit them however you like. Basic text changes are straightforward in any code editor. If you're not comfortable in HTML, we're happy to handle updates at our standard rate. Either way, the code is yours and you're never stuck waiting on us for access.
Any work after the 30-day window is quoted and billed separately — no subscription, no retainer required. Need a new page added six months later? We'll quote it. Need a full redesign a year from now? Same process as a new project. We don't disappear after launch — we just charge for new work like any professional should.
