What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. Written plainly — no fine print designed to trip you up.
These terms apply to all web design and development services provided by AuroWeb (Anthony Perez, Kansas City, Kansas). By submitting the intake form, paying a deposit, or otherwise engaging AuroWeb for a project, you agree to these terms.
Every project begins with a written proposal. That proposal — scope, price, timeline — is the contract. These terms govern everything the proposal doesn't spell out.
AuroWeb builds custom websites written from scratch in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Every project is purpose-built for your business. We do not use WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, page builders, or pre-made templates. What we deliver is clean, fast, and entirely yours.
Services available:
Add-ons (copywriting, extra pages, rush delivery) are quoted separately and confirmed in writing before any additional work begins.
All projects require a 50% deposit before any work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon your approval of the final site — before it goes live or files are handed over.
We accept payment via Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or bank transfer. Payment method is confirmed at the time of proposal. All prices are in USD.
If the final balance is not paid within 7 days of your approval, we reserve the right to pause delivery until payment is received. The site remains on our hosting and the files remain in our possession until the project is paid in full.
Every project includes two rounds of revisions at no additional charge. A revision round is a consolidated set of feedback — text changes, layout adjustments, color tweaks, image swaps. We make the changes, you review again.
The following are not covered by revision rounds and require a separate change order:
Change orders are quoted in writing and require approval and payment before the additional work begins. We'll always tell you upfront if something is outside scope — no surprise invoices.
Once the project is paid in full, you own everything we built for you — the code, the design, the files. All of it. You can host it anywhere, modify it, hand it to another developer, or do whatever you need with it.
AuroWeb retains no ongoing rights to your site after delivery. We may show the finished project in our portfolio unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
Until final payment is received, AuroWeb retains full ownership of all work in progress.
A project moves at the speed of your feedback. To keep things on track, we ask that you:
If we don't hear back from you within 14 days at any stage of the project, we may pause the work and move to other clients. Projects left unresponsive for 30+ days may be cancelled without refund of the deposit.
Every project includes 30 days of support after launch at no additional charge. During that window, we'll fix bugs, correct anything that breaks, and handle small copy tweaks.
Post-launch support does not include new pages, new features, design changes, or anything outside the original scope. After 30 days, any work is quoted and billed at our standard rate.
We invest significant time into every project from the moment the deposit clears — discovery, planning, research, and early build work begin immediately. For this reason, all refunds are limited to 50% of the total project cost, regardless of where we are in the process.
Once the final deliverable has been approved by you and launched, no refunds are issued. If you have a concern about the work, bring it up within your revision rounds — that's what they're for.
All websites built by AuroWeb include a small "Built by AuroWeb" credit link in the footer by default. This is standard practice in the web design industry and comes at no cost to you.
If you prefer your site delivered without any AuroWeb attribution, a white-label option is available for an additional $150, confirmed in writing at the time of proposal. Once white-label delivery is purchased, no attribution will appear anywhere on your site.
We build websites. We do not guarantee search engine rankings, website traffic, lead volume, revenue, or any specific business outcome after launch. A great website improves your chances — it doesn't guarantee results.
AuroWeb does not offer SEO services. We build clean, fast, well-structured code that is search-engine friendly by default, but we make no specific SEO promises.
AuroWeb is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of a site we built — including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability in any situation is limited to the amount you paid us for the project in question.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes arising from a project with AuroWeb will be handled in Kansas City, Kansas.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time your deposit is paid is the version that governs your project — changes after that don't affect your active agreement.
